When I started beading, for my first creations I bought what they had in my nearest Handicrafts store or unpicked old jewellery, and it was enough during some time... unfortunately, not very long :-) Because the variety of beading materials turned out to be limitless and often not available or affordable for me. And although time after time I yield to the temptation to try some unusual beads, I yet prefer making something of simple ones. This pendant by Marie Geraud's design is a great sample of such jewellery. It requires not many beads, and I even made it simpler by using 10/0 Czech beads.
Why Dawn in the Castle? It seems to be the cutesy to some vague intentions to visit one of the old places... full of stories ready to be told as soon as the imagination is let fly...
