Dresden Memories Pendant

 

Something switched in my head so after stringing Simple Shapes Necklace the process of renovating was postponed and I jumped to my ancient idea to make a pendant using the ticket to Zvinger Palace. I am not that sentimental and it is the only museum ticket I've ever saved but 10 years🙄! "The chance to see the city was very important for me... because of my [unreal childish] dream to visit the Dresden Gallery and see the Sistine Madonna. It was my second very sentimental moment during my trip and it's hard to explain what it meant for me: to come into the hall, stand there, in front of the picture, and admire." (I wrote this under one of the photos in my Dresden Album).

Кулон "Спогади про Дрезден"

Щось у мене в голові перемкнулося тож після нанизування намиста "Прості форми" процес оновлення відклався і я перестрибнула до своєї давньої ідеї зробити кулон з квитка до Zvinger Palace. Я не така вже і сентиментальна, але цей музейний квиток у мене зберігався 10 років😳. Мабуть тому, що відвідування Дрездену та його знаменитої галереї і побачення з "Сикстинською Мадоною" було для мене чимось дуже значимим і з дитинства омріяним, таким що ніколи не могло трапитися, але відбулося.

The ticket was a little wrinkled, I ironed it but it didn't help, the only thing happened - its back side turned black🙄. Then I cut the piece of the ticket according to the cabochone's shape, glued it to the glass, then to the felt, and bezeled the cabochone with 11.0 Matsuno 2 cut seed beads, 15.0 Czech chalotte beads (I still have no idea what needle I need to work with them and beadweave with thread at once), and 11.0 Toho seed beads. The pallette was matched the picture's colour style. Hung on the chain.

Квиток трохи прим'явся, я його попрасувала, але це не допомогло, єдине, що змінилося - його зворотній бік почорнів🙄. Потім по формі кабошону вирізала фрагмент, приклеїла його до скла, потім до фетру, а потім вже обшила його бісером # 11.0 Matsuno 2 cut, 15.0 Czech chalotte (все ще так і не маю жодного уявлення яка потрібна голка, щоб з ним працювати і нанизую одразу лескою), та #11.0 Toho. Палітру підбирала до кольорової гами картини. Повісила на ланцюжок.

Paisley Brooch

The other days I was watching a video about unpacking a parcel by some beading girl and thought that as I had none ready project to share, I could describe my impressions about my last purchase, too, since I hadn't bought none of new materials for quite long. But then some other idea occurred to me. I thought that sharing a post about materials is, in fact, to share plans. But plans are so unstable substance in my case :-) It is so tempting to tell about them but then the blog would risk transforming into the storage of ghost projects instead of being the place of my experience accumulation. Thus I unpacked the parcel without agiotage and embroidered one of the six brooches from it. There is no special order of making the items. The main idea is to finish them all :-) 

Брошка "Пейслі"

Днями я дивилася відео якоїсь рукотворниці, в якому вона розпаковувала посилку і подумала, що оскільки у мене немає жодного закінченого проекту, я теж можу розповісти про враження від мого останнього придбання, тим більше, що я вже давно не купувала нових матеріалів. Але потім на думку спало дещо інше. Я подумала, що ділитися дописом про матеріали - це те саме що ділитися планами. Але плани в моєму випадку така нестабільна субстанція :-) Так спокусливо про них розповідати, але тоді мій блог ризикує перетворитися на склад проектів привидів замість місця накопичення мого досвіду. Тож посилку розпакувала без ажіотажу і вишила одну з тих шести брошок. Головне - закінчити їх всі :-) 

It is my first experience of the kind. I thought about embroidering brooches but couldn't start. The kits from our Ukrainian company simplified the task. What I like: it is really much easier and quicker to use kits as they have all you need for work. 

Це мій перший такий досвід. Я розмірковувала про вишивання брошок, але щось ніяк не могла розпочати. Набори від нашої української компанії спростили завдання. Що мені подобається: справді набагато легше і швидше користуватися наборами, оскільки вони вже мають все необхідне для роботи.

What I don't think I like or don't have a certain opinion for a while: the fact the base of the brooch is seen. Maybe it is the feature of such brooches then it is OK. But, I added extra row of seed beads around the big blue bead and 8.0 seed beads between the brown ones. I also added a couple of seed beads between big green and brown on the top. 

Що мені не подобається або про що я, поки що не маю певної думки: основу брошки видно. Можливо, це особливість таких брошок, тоді все гаразд. Але я додала додатковий ряд бісеру навколо великої синьої намистини і бісер № 8.0 між коричневими намистинами. Також додала пару бісерин між великими зеленими та коричневими на тонкому кінці. 

There are limitless number of variants of embroidered brooches in the Internet but I understand that embroidered in full, with different rhinestones base would make the brooch too heavy for wearing with light clothes. So, in general I am glad with the outcome.

В інтернеті можна побачити безліч варіантів вишитих брошок, але зрозуміло, що повністю зашита основа та ще з різними камінцями зробить брошку надто важкою для носіння з легким одягом. Тож в цілому мені подобається, що у мене вийшло.

London Sketches Necklace (Bezeled cabochons)

Autumn is in its last weeks and I still have none of the season's projects. And this one is not about autumn as well:-) The idea of making such a necklace was on my mind since my mum presented me a red cup in a cute box last year. The pictures on the box was so teasing with their London's sketches that it was really pity to throw the box away and I decided to make cabochons with them to unite the ready elements in a necklace one day. My red sweater suddenly became the real push to start the project. I don't know why, probably, just because the right time came. Actually, any of these elements can be used for making different piece of jewellery, either for a pendant or bracelet or a ring but I still don't refuse from the idea of making a necklace. Even if I have to make one more sweater to push me to find the time to make it:-)

Намисто "Лондонські замальовки" (Оплетені кабошони)

Осінь вже майже на фінішній прямій, а у мене щось досі немає жодного тематичного проекту. І цей не про осінь теж :-) Ідея створення такого намиста запала мені щойно минулого року мама подарувала мені червону чашку в милій упаковці. Малюнки на коробці так дражнили лондонськими замальовками, що було шкода її викидати, тож я і вигадала зробити з ними кабошони і колись об'єднати готові елементи у намисто. Справжнім поштовхом  розпочати роботу став мій червоний светр. Не знаю чому, можливо просто настав той самий час. Насправді, будь який з цих елементів можна використати для виготовлення різних прикрас: для кулону або браслету чи каблучки. Але я поки що не відмовилася від ідеї зробити намисто. Навіть якщо доведеться сплести ще один светр, щоб примусити мене знайти час для його виготовлення:-)

So the box was unfolded and six sketches cabochons were made. I also made a few more of packing bow but I don't know how many of them I will need and if I need any in general.  

Отже коробку було розібрано і зроблено шість кабошонів. Я також зробила декілька з декоративної пакувальної стрічки, але не знаю, скільки подібних знадобиться і чи потрібні вони будуть взагалі. 

The technique of bezeling cabochons in embroidery technique seems to clear for me already as I've made it several times. However, on YouTube there are many video tutorials in probably any language to learn or check or improve the skill.

Техніка оплетення кабошону в техніці вишивки видається мені зрозумілою, оскільки я це робила вже декілька разів. Проте, на YouTube більше ніж достатньо відео майстер класів будь якою мовою, щоб освоїти чи перевірити або покращити цю навичку.

Hibiscus Necklace. Final

These days I made the dress for which Hibiscus Necklace had been created. But the piece of jewellery looked uncompleted being worn with it because the outfit required something more fluffy and bulky. So I made two more flowers by the same pattern. One of them using Czech seed beads 10.0 and the second one with Matsuno cut beads 11.0. This flower turned out to be much lighter and it means that for making a brooch, it would suit very well. Thanking to the heavy base of the initial pendant the necklace stays in the centre of the front despite asymmetrical composition. In this way the item looks more... persuasive as the decor of tropical blossoming :-)

Намисто "Гібіскус" (закінчення)

Днями пошила сукню, для якої було створено намисто "Гібіскус". Але воно виглядало  в парі з нею якимось незакінченим, тому що вбрання потребувало щось більш громіздке і пишне. Тому я сплела ще дві квітки за тією ж схемою. Одну з чеського бісеру 10.0, а іншу з рубки Matsuno 11.0. Ця квітка виявилася набагато легшою, отже для виготовлення брошки підійшла б дуже добре. Завдяки важкій основі початкового кулону прикраса залишається в центрі переду незважаючи на асиметричну композицію. Так намисто виглядає більш переконливим... у якості оздоблення з тропічних квітів :-)

Hibiscus Necklace

If put some project aside, it can stay unfinished indefinite time so to avoid it and having on mind some ideas, last few days I spent for making this Hibiscus Necklace. The necklace consists of three parts: the flower itself (the details are here), an open shape frame as a base for a pendant and a herringbone rope. The extra bonus - I bought nothing to make this necklace because used only the materials from my stash. And it is good because when the stash is becoming emptier, it means some day I can indulge myself in making it full with something new :-)

Намисто "Гібіскус" 

Якщо відкласти якійсь проект на потім, він може залишатися незавершеним невизначений час, тож, щоб цьому запобігти і маючи декілька ідей, останні декілька днів я витратила на виготовлення цього намиста. Воно складається з трьох елементів: самої квітки (докладніше про неї тут), рамки-трапеції як основи для кулону і джгута ндебеле. Додатковий бонус - нічого не купувала для роботи, скористалася тим, що було в запасах. І це добре, бо якщо запаси чогось закінчуються, одного дня можна буде дозволити собі їх трохи поповнити :-)

At first I made a pendant. Since I beaded my first open shape, I had some practice to make them, in the blog the projects are labelled as "geometry". I chose trapezium form to try new variant. The common idea of the beading them is, for example, here. Then sewed the flower to the frame. 

Спочатку зробила кулон. З того часу як я нанизала мою першу відкриту форму, у мене ще були можливості тренуватися., у блозі такі проекти ідуть під тегом (міткою) "geometry". Вибрала форму трапеції, щоб спробувати новий варіант. Загальне уявлення про таке плетіння можна знайти, наприклад, тут.

Then I beaded a new for me type of a herringbone rope from Leslee Frumin tutorial. Its pattern you can find free here. I am planning to add one more rope but in the colours of the flower.

Потім сплела новий для мене тип джгута ндебеле з майстер класу Leslee Frumin. Його модель можна безкоштовно взяти тут. Збираюся додати ще одну стрічку такого джгута, але в кольорах квітки.

Melting Heart Earrings & Pendant

A heart (as an image, of course!) can be warm, cold, open, generous, bleeding, brave, loving... The list can be continued... But my today's heart, I mean the heart I made, is melting :-) I just couldn't find better definition for its idea on such a hot day.

Сережки і кулон "Серце, що тане"

Серце (як образ, звісно!) може бути холодним, щирим, відданим, хоробрим, люблячим, воно може стікати кров'ю і  бути сповненим тепла... Перелік можна продовжити... Але сьогодні моє серце, тобто те, яке я зробила, таке що тане :-) Я просто не змогла знайти кращого означення для цього образу в такий спекотний день.

I have enough red earrings. Despite I try to make some new jewelry to embellish almost every of my outfits, some of the items match several apparels. But I like the cases when I can experiment. This time I bezeled a heart shaped rivoli. The work was started from the Internet videos watching and sites reading but, as it happens pretty often, I had to track my own way :-)

I decided to bezel the rvoli with the help of embroidering. After few times of failing of tracing the rivoli right on the fabric I sewed the piece of paper with the drawing of heart to it and beaded the first row of the bezeling right through the paper. 3 cut beads (3x), 10/0 and one 15/0 seed bead were used. After the first row was ready I removed the paper, beaded one more row of 3x and then one row of 10/0, it is shown with white spots on the bottom photo.

У мене достатньо червоних сережок. Хоча я і намагаюся виготовляти біжутерію майже до кожного вбрання, багато чого пасує до різних предметів одягу. Але мені подобається, коли можна експериментувати. Цього разу я обплела ріволі у формі серця. Робота почалася з перегляду відео та читання порад в Інтернеті, але зрештою, як це часто трапляється, довелося торувати власний шлях:-)

Вирішила обплетати ріволі вишиванням. Змучившись з обведенням ріволі прямо на тканині, я пришила на ту тканину клаптик паперу з обведеним сердечком і перший ряд бісеру нашила прямо через папір. Працювала рубкою 3 cut (3х), бісером 10/0 і однією бісериною 15/0. Потім папір витягнула, прошила ще один ряд рубкою, потім один ряд 10/0, на нижньому фото показано білими крапками.

Then the work goes by the usual steps. Cut out the rivoli, glue them on the pieces of leather and cut out again when it is dry.

Потім робота триває по звичайній схемі. Вирізаємо ріволі, наклеюємо на клаптик шкіри і знову вирізаємо, коли висохне.

Next step is to process the edge of the rivoli (nothing new is here, too). I did it with usual plain blanket stitch but with adding two seed beads every time when the needle goes through the leather on the wrong side. First rivoli was finished with grey seed beads but when it was ready, I understood I wanted mono coloured small shape so it was remade.

Наступний крок обробка краю ріволі (тут теж нічого нового). Я це зробила звичайним обметувальним (або петельним) стібком з додаванням двох бісерин після кожного проколу шкіри зі зворотнього боку. Спочатку обплетення було закінчено сірим бісером, але потім я зрозуміла, що хочу монохромну маленьку форму, тому перший варіант переробила.

Sugared Buds Earrings :-)

I've already beaded few items that need earrings to complete the sets... But either I had no inspiration or time or wanted to make something unique, or just don't need them right now, I haven't made any pair up to now... The reasons of the postponing can be a lot :-)
However, after making the lariat I yet cut the dress for it to complete the outfit. So, while the materials are on my beading board, I spent today creating these earrings. I thought if the liane could have buds, they would probably look like that.


Сережки "Зацукровані бруньки" 

Вже сплела декілька речей, які потребують сережок. щоб утворити набори... Але чи то не було у мене натхнення чи часу чи воліла зробити щось унікальне, або просто не було в них потреби, до сьогодні так і не зробила жодної пари... Причин відкладати справи може бути багато :-)
Проте, після виготовлення ларіату я все ж таки покроїла сукню яку він призначений доповнювати. Тож, поки всі матеріали у мене на дошці, весь день провела створюючи ці сережки. Я подумала, що якби ліана мала бруньки, вони б виглядали приблизно ось так.

For the earrings I used 11.0 cut beads and 10.0 seed beads of two colours both, 15.0, a pearl and crystal drops. I am not sure it is worth describing all the way of the beading because there is nothing unusual here and I just combined few known available techniques.




Для сережок використала рубку 11.0 і бісер 10.0 двох кольорів кожний, бісер 15.0, перлину, кристальні краплі. Не впевнена, що варто описувати весь процес плетіння, тому що нічого незвичного тут немає, я просто скомбінувала декілька відомих і доступних технік.

Buds beaded with herringbone stitch. I put a pearl inside to get some weight for the earring as I like to feel it in the ear. But the construction is stiff enough without it as well. 


Бруньки сплетені у техніці "ндебеле". В середину вставила перлину, щоб сережка отримала вагу, бо мені подобається відчувати сережку у вусі. Але конструкція доволі жорстка і без неї.

The stamens are a simple fringe. It takes time to choose the right length and density of it. But it is better to experiment before joining all the details than to remake all the earring after it is ready.



Тичинки - прості "корали". Щоб визначитися з правильною довжиною і щільністю декору, варто витрати час. Але краще поекспериментувати до того як з'єднувати всі деталі ніж потім переробляти готовий виріб. 

Summer here is hot and mostly people are inclined to take off as much clothes as possible than to put it on. It means I wear necklaces very rarely in summer. But as the set is pretty delicate, I hope it will become an exception.




Літо у нас спекотне і люди переважно намагаються зняти з себе побільше одягу, а не вдягти. Це означає, що я дуже рідко одягаю намиста влітку. Але, оскільки набір вийшов негроміздким, сподіваюсь, він стане виключенням.

Sugared Liane Lariat :-)

If I made this lariat in winter, the liana surely would be called "frozen" but as it is 30 degrees above zero outside, it mostly reminds some candy made in a Caramel House so got the name "sugared" :-)
Making lariats are good idea when you want to experiment with different spirals and, especially, their embellishments. This one I made by the sample but couldn't help improvising enough. The initial idea and the pattern belongs to Kelly Wiese.

Ларіат "Зацукрована ліана" :-)

Якби зробила цей ларіат взимку, то ліана вже напевно називалася б " замерзлою", а на вулиці  +30 за Цельсієм, то вона більше нагадує якусь цукерку виготовлену у Майстерні Карамелі :-)
Плетіння ларіатів гарний ідея, якщо хочеться поекспериментувати з різними видами джгутів і, особливо, з їхнім декором. Цей я зробила за зразком, але не могла не імпровізувати. Початкова ідея і модель належать Kelly Wiese.

First modification concerned the leaves. I made less rows because I used cut beads and 10.0 seed beads instead of the required so, if following the pattern, the leaves would be very big and awkward.



Перша зміна стосувалася листя. Зробила менше рядочків, оскільки використовувала рубку і бісер 10.0 тому, тому, якщо слідувати інструкції, листя вийшло б дуже великим і недолугим.

Next change was for stamens. Because of the same reason I changed fringe for the corals :-) In this way the stamens look airy and light even made with cut beads.
The length of the desirable connection was defined with a simple arranging of leaves.


Наступна зміна стосувалася тичинок. З тієї ж самої причини замість "китиць" я зробила "корали" :-) Так, навіть зроблені з рубки, тичинки виглядають легкими і граціозними.
Бажану довжину з'єднання визначила простим впорядкуванням листя.

The slide is a real jewel in the pattern but I decided to make it as plain as possible. So used only 10.0 seed beads.


Кільце - справжня прикраса в моделі, але я вирішила зробити як можна непомітнішим, тому сплела з бісеру № 10.0.

And here it is. The shining lariat making think about candies and pleasant days, for example, in Chernivtsi, where the photo of the Caramel House was taken :-)

Ось і він. Блискучий ларіант, що навіює думки про цукерки та приємні дні, наприклад у Чернівцях, де було зроблене фото Майстерні карамелі :-)

Oriental Prelude Set

Next day after posting the story about this nameless bracelet I was asked by one of my colleagues if I had invented the name for it. I said no. Then she turned on her imagination and said that its shining and massive form brought to her mind the Oriental Dance movements which are surely can be interpreted as the prelude before making love... (she didn't use this term but it was exactly what she meant :-)) She only was surprised there were no earrings matching the bracelet. Well, as I have nothing against either the preludes or what they can lead to, I made the pair of such earrings and gladly use my colleague's idea for the name. 

Набір "Східна Прелюдія"

Наступного дня після поширення допису про цей безіменний браслет, одна з моїх колежанок спитала чи вже вигадала я для нього назву. Я відповіла "ні". Тоді вона увімкнула свою уяву і сказала, що його блиск і масивна форма навіюють думки про рухи східного танцю, який напевно можна розуміти як прелюдію до того що ми називаємо "кохатись"... (вона терміну не вживала, але це вже точно мала на увазі:-)) Дівчина лише була здивована відсутністю сережок в тому ж стилі. Отже, оскільки я нічого не маю проти ані проти таких прелюдій, ані того до чого вони доводять, такі сережки браслетові до пари я зробила і із задоволенням скористаюся ідею моєї колежанкі щодо назви.

As always at first I looked through few tutorials to find something quick and to use the same, as for the bracelet, materials. And even found the one that seemed to be right. But following the tutorial stopped on 2:36 minutes and then it transformed only in a source of inspiration :-)

So I added a loop of seven 3хcut seed beads, fastened and cut the thread. These elements were made 4. The thread from every other is used to complete the beading. Then string one beaded element, one 12 mm pearl, one beaded element  on the pin and sew them with the thread with one 15/0, 11/0 and 15/0 in chess order between every 4th seed bead of the 3xcut loop. When the beaded bead is ready different combinations with other elements are possible.

Як завжди спочатку я переглянула декілька МК у пошуках якогось швидкого варіанту гожого для використання тих самих матеріалів що і для браслету. І навіть знайшла один, який здався тим що треба. Але слідування майстер класу припинилося на 2:36 і далі він перетворився лише на джерело натхнення :-)

Отже, я додала петлю з семи бісерин 3хcut, закріпила та відрізала нитку. Таких елементів я зробила 4. Нитка на двох з них залишається для закінчення елементу. Потім нанизала на пін один сплетений елемент, 12 мм перлину, один  сплетений елемент і зшила їх ниткою з нанизаними бісеринами 15/0, 11/0 і 15/0 (між кожною 4 бісериною петлі нанизаного елементу) в шаховому порядку. Коли вся намистина готова, її можна комбінувати з іншими різними елементами.

Angel's Feather Brooch

I surely liked to play Snow Queen :-) (By the way, it was the only role I used to play in a School Drama club. No, not because I was a bad actress... I was about ten years old then so it was not very actual, I guess. That Drama club worked only one season... at least before our family moved to other place. Well, all that is out of this post's theme anyway:-)) Not to waste the happy moments of inspiration I went on with my angel's feathers and made a brooch to get the set with the earrings. I wanted to make something original.. unexpected to avoid the predictable shape of the wing. Probably that's why the outcome mostly reminds some kind of a winter medal... Maybe even from Snow Queen... So what? I like it :-)

Брошка "Перо Янгола"

Бачу, мені сподобалося гратися в Снігову королеву:-) (До речі, це була єдина роль яку я колись зіграла в шкільному драматичному гуртку. Ні, не тому що я була погана акторка... Мені тоді було років десять, тому, гадаю, це було не так вже і важливо. Той гурток проіснував лише один сезон... принаймні до того як наша родина переїхала в інше місце. Зрештою, це ніяк не стосується теми допису:-)) Щоб не витрачати щасливі моменти натхнення, я продовжила з моїм пір'ям янгола і зробила брошку в пару до сережок. Хотілося зробити щось оригінальне... несподіване і уникнути передбачуваної форми крила. Мабуть тому результат більше нагадує якійсь зимовий орден... може і від Снігової Королеви... То й що? Мені подобається:-)

As it was clear from the previous post, I bezeled five rivolis of the same shape and size. Two of them were used for the earrings and today I just sewed the rest three together to form a brooch. Despite my experience I am still surprised how much time it always takes to sew the ready details... For example, this time it took half a day! Just think, to sew three rivolis and add three bicones and the dangle.

З попереднього допису видно, що я оплела п'ять однакових за формою і розміром ріволі. два з них пішло на сережки, а три останніх я сьогодні зшила разом щоб утворилася брошка.Незважаючи на мій досвід мене все ще дивує як багато часу витрачається на зшивання готових елементів... наприклад цього разу на це пішло пів дня! Лише подумати, на те щоб з'єднати три ріволі, додати біконуси і підвіску.

Angel's Feather Earrings

When winter is real, it impresses... Of course, it can be absolutely fierce, out of control and bring a lot of trouble but we love it for different moments... For its frosty sunny days when its cold is soft enough and lets dream about home warmth and coziness without thoughts about flue... and for revealing our hidden readiness to be a child again when winter gives us a chance to play snowballs and make a snowman and brings back some natural blush to our cheeks... and when it charms us with bright joyful holidays... and when covering everything around with snow, winter creates such spectacular magic landscapes that only can be imagined in fairy tales and then the world seems to be wrapped in angel's wings... And that's why I called my new earrings Angel's Feather.

Сережки "Перо Янгола"

Коли зима справжня, вона вражає... Звісно, вона може бути абсолютно лютою неконтрольованою і принести немало лиха, але ми любимо її зовсім за інше... За її сонячні морозні дні, коли зимовий холод м'який достатньо для того, щоб помріяти про домашнє тепло і затишок без думок про застуду... і за те що вона витягає на світ нашу заховану готовність знову відчути себе дитиною, коли дає можливість погратися в сніжки або зліпити снігову бабу та повертає щокам трохи природного рум'янцю... і коли зачаровує нас яскравими радісними святами... і коли укриваючи все навколо снігом, зима створює такі неймовірні видовищні пейзажі, які можна уявити лише в казках і тоді тоді весь світ здається огорнутим крилами янгола... Тому так я і назвала мої нові сережки - "Перо янгола".

Although I am not a big fan of white colour on some unknown reason I have enough materials of the kind. So I gathered them and decided to follow my own way to say good bye to winter. (Something tells me the process of "good byeing" can be pretty long:-)) The main element of the earrings is a bezeled navette. All what I could say about my experience of making them is mentioned here. I only can repeat again that even after watching many videos every time it is necessary to make a lot of own work and not only the beading itself. For example, this time I started bezeling with 44 Matsuno 11/0 cut beads. And despite all those materials I thought the laconic form for this project would be the best so just completed the earrings with a dangle. 

Хоча я не дуже велика прихильниця білого кольору, якимось невідомим чином у мене накопичилося достатньо відповідних матеріалів. Тож я їх зібрала і вирішила попрощатися з зимою у власний спосіб. (Щось мені підказує, що процес прощання може затягнутися:-))  Головним елементом сережок є обплетена наветта. Все що я могла сказати про свій досвід її виготовлення вже описано тут. Можу лише повторитися, що навіть після перегляду багатьох відео щоразу доводиться виконувати багато роботи самостійно і йдеться не лише про бісероплетіння як таке. Наприклад, цього разу я почала обплетення з 44 бісерин рубки № 11 Matsuno. І незважаючи на всі ті матеріали, зрештою я подумала, що лаконічна форма найкраща, тож закінчила сережки лише додаванням підвіски.

Peyote Brooch, or Autumn Walk

I've looked through my autumn posts not to repeat occasionally some bright thoughts about the season which I already shared  before (it can happen, of course, if our mood and atittiude to different things don't change). There are few posts inspired by the season colours and I found two of them depicting how I feel in autumn. One post devoted to this pair of earrings and another to this floral coat. 
I already thought that I have nothing new to say but then imagined an ideal autumn walk in the park or along quiet empty streets planted with old trees whose branches create colurful arches. And then I remembered how much I liked to gather those nice leaves. And it is exactly what I tried to do here, in my new project. I mean to gather autumn colours in a bunch as it is so easy to be an artist in this time of year!  

Брошка в техніці пейот, або Осіння прогулянка.

Переглядала свої осінні дописи, щоб випадково не повторити якісь з моїх яскравих думок про цю пору року, якими я вже  ділилася раніше (це, звісно, може трапитися, якщо наш настрій і ставлення до різних речей не змінюється). Є декілька дописів, натхненних кольорами осені, і я знайшла два з них про те, як я восени почуваюся. Один з них присвячений цим сережкам, а інший - цьому квітчастому пальту.
І вже подумала, що нічого нового мені не сказати, але потім уявила собі ідеальну осінню прогулянку в парку або здовж тихих пустельних вулиць обсаджених старими деревами чиї гілки утворили мальовничі арки. І потім я згадала як мені подобалося збирати те гарне листя. І це якраз те, що я спробувала зробити  в цьому новому проекті. Маю на увазі - зібрати осінні кольори в жмуток, адже восени так легко бути художником!

The idea and the pattern of the leaves were taken here. But I changed the way of assembling the brooch, and after making 2 -3 leaves, it was easy to understand how to change the pattern, too, to make new kinds of leaves. 
For my project, I used cut beads and seed beads of don't-know-how-many colours.



Ідея і схема листя були знайдені тут. Але я змінила спосіб з'єднання елементів, і після того, як зробила 2-3 листи, стало зрозуміло, як можна змінити і схему самого листа.
Для свого проєкту використала бісер і рубку, не знаю, скількох кольорів.

To decorate the brooch, I used only one big rondelle and a few pieces of wire. It seemed to be more elegant than to add many small beads because the leaves are very motley themselves.




Для декорування брошки використала лише один великий рондель і декілька відрізків дроту. Так мені здалося елегантніше, ніж додавати багато дрібних намистин, тому що листя і так дуже строкате.

Frozen Lavender Necklace

As always after finishing complex long term project of my own design my mood swings from "WOW, I have made it!" to "I'll never make it any more, only following the ready patterns next time" :-) There's no need to say that the first idea prevails with passing time and the doubts, remaking and disappointments of the latter are fading out during few days and that's why I'll know when I am ready to start something new. I'd say the common pattern of our life can be described in the same way if the post wasn't related to my beading, doesn't it? :-) 


Намисто "Замерзла Лаванда" 

Як завжди по закінченні складного довготривалого проекту за власним дизайном мій настрій коливається від "Не можу повірити, що я це зробила!" до "Ніколи в житті такого не робитиму, лише наслідування готових зразків!" :-) Марно казати, що з часом перша думка бере гору, а сумніви, переробки і розчарування другої розсіюються протягом декількох днів і так я дізнаюся, що готова починати щось нове. Я б сказала, що так можна описати загальну модель нашого життя, якби цей допис не стосувався мого бісероплетіння, чи не так? :-)

I wish I could repeat here the same words from the Frozen Lavender earrings post. I mean "If all the details are ready, the only thing to do is to assemble them together" and generally it would be almost true because the final result of any project is the elements composed together but in this case this process took ten days and it  was much longer than making the navette components. 
At first I drew a sketch of the ready necklace. Then beaded two kinds of ropes: tubular peyote from 10.0 seed beads of three colours and tubular herringbone from cut beads of three colours. 

Хотілося б мені повторити тут слова з допису про сережки "Замерзла лаванда", а саме: "Якщо всі деталі готові, єдине, що лишається зробити - зібрати їх до купи". І загалом це було б цілком правильно, бо будь який готовий виріб - це упорядковані і з'єднані разом елементи, але в цьому випадку процес зайняв десять днів і це було набагато довше ніж обплетення наветт. 

Спочатку намалювала ескіз готового намиста. Потім сплела два види джгутів: пейоточний з бісеру 10.0 трьох кольорів і ндебеле з рубки трьох кольорів.

And only now almost all the components are ready to be assembled. And it takes the most of time. To sew the bigger navettes to the ropes at first I beaded a short (about two cm) pieces of flat herringbone ropes to the ends of the peyote ropes and then sewed the rivolis to them. Then joined the ropes and sewed the smaller navettes.



І ось лише зараз майже всі елементи готові і їх можна з'єднувати.  І на це якраз і витрачається більшість часу. Щоб пришити великі наветти до джгутів, я нанизала коротенькі (десь по два см) відрізки плаского джгута ндебеле до кінців пейточних джгутів і вже до них пришила ріволі. Потім з'єднала самі джгути. І потім пришила менші наветти.

After both peyote and herringbone ropes were joined, it turned out I had to make cones on my own because nothing matched well to cover the ends of the ropes. I beaded two cones by this pattern which I already used for these earrings but with more widening and without petals.
And then it turned out that the bar of the toggle clasp unfastened so I beaded a peyote piece to wrap the bar in it and thus made it a bit bigger. It is seen on the last photo.




Після того як обидва джгути, і пейточний і ндебеле, були з'єднані, з'ясувалося, що мені доведеться самій робити конуси тому що нічого не підходило, щоб приховати кінці джгутів. Тож сплела дві "чашечки" за цією схемою, яку вже колись використовувала для цих сережок, але з більшим розширенням і без пелюсток.
А вже потім виявилося, що тогл розстібається і тому довелося сплести пейотом невеличкий клаптик, щоб загорнути в нього перетику і вона стала більша (це видно на останньому фото).

Although  it is said modesty embellishes the person it is not my featured trait because I am quite proud of myself and like my work very much:-)





Хоча і кажуть, що скромність прикрашає людину, але це не моя видатна чеснота, тому що я собою пишаюсь і мені дуже подобається моя робота:-)

Frozen Lavender Earrings

I am glad that from making all those navettes to using them as elements for creating new pieces of jewellery passed not so much time and I still immersed in the embodiment of the image of frozen lavender:-)
The first result is these earrings made with 5 small navettes and one 12 mm rivoli. Despite the earrings are not small, I managed not to make them cumbersome and they save the idea of a refined and gentle flower.


Сережки "Замерзла лаванда" 

Я рада, що від обплетення всіх тих навет до їх використання  як елементів для створення нових прикрас минуло не настільки багато часу, щоб відмовитися від ідеї втілення образу змерзлої лаванди:-)
Перший результат - ці сережки, виконані з 5 маленьких навет і 12 мм ріволі. Хоча сережки і не малі за розміром, вони не виглядають громіздкими і передають ідею ніжної і вишуканої квітки.

If all the elements are ready, the only thing to do is to assemble them together. At first I sewed the navettes by two then sewed the middle one and then sewed of them together.
Bezeling the 12 mm rivoli starts with twenty-eight 11.0 seed beads (Toho).




Якщо всі деталі готові, єдине, що лишається зробити, зібрати їх до купи. Спочатку я зшила навети по дві, потім пришила середню, а потім вже зшила всі разом.
Обплетення 12 мм ріволі починаємо з двадцяти восьми бісерин 11.0 (Toho).

To join the navettes, round rivoli and a hook, I made loops of four seed beads. And then joined the details with a jump ring. The hook was joined while making the loop (two seed beads, a hook, two seed beads).




Щоб з'єднати навети, круглий ріволі і швензу, я зробила петлі з чотирьох бісерин. Потім повісила деталі на кільце. Швенза додається одночасно з набором петлі (дві бісерини, швенза, дві бісерини).
