Transcarpathia Vacation Wardrobe, І

As a person who wears only self-made clothes and enjoys travelling on the chance, I can't help avoiding the topic about a vacation wardrobe. I represented this subject in different ways the previous years, this time I decided to combine short descriptions of my vacation's activities with description of the clothing I was wearing on the corresponding days. This year I didn't sew anything purposely to pack in my suitcase. I just made what I wanted to update my summer wardrobe and then chose the garments which were supposed to be in use during my trip. 

I promise if I am too talkative, I will divide the story in few parts :-)

Гардероб для Закарпатськіх канікул, І

Як людина яка носить лише саморобний одяг і полюбляє за можливості подорожувати, я не можу оминути увагою тему відпускного гардеробу. Я її презентувала на різний манер в попередні роки, а зараз вирішила поєднати короткі описи розваг з описом вбрання, яке одягалося у відповідні дні. Цього року нічого спеціально для пакування у валізу я не шила, лише робила що хотіла, а потім обрала ті речі, які теоретично могли б мені знадобитися під час мандрівки. Обіцяю, якщо буду занадто балакучою, поділити цю історію на декілька частин :-)

1. To get to the destination point at first we went to Kyiv by bus and then by train to Svalyava. I've never travelled by this route by train so couldn't choose through which window to watch. Thanking to Ukrzaliznytsia it was comfortable and thanking to the Carpathian landscapes, it felt as if in a fairytale. In the video you can see a tiny part of those fabulous scenes.

Being on the road I wore brown jeans and a collared shirt.

1.Щоб дістатися до місця призначення ми спочатку їхали автобусом до Києва, потім потягом до Сваляви. Цим маршрутом на потязі я ніколи не подорожувала, тож не могла обрати, в яке вікно дивитися. Укрзалізниця забезпечила комфорт, а Карпатські пейзажі - відчуття казки. У відео можна побачити невеличку частину тих мальовничих краєвидів. 

В дорогу одягнула коричневі джинси та топ з коміром.

Dolman Sleeve White Blouse

My continuous whining about necessity to make a new white blouse, at last transformed in its phisical existence :-) As in theory I've got few projects of the kind on my mind, I mean sewing white blouses, I started with the simplest, and quick to make but showy  pattern. It is combined perfectly with all summer items I wanted it to pair but for colder seasons, I would like to have some more.

Біла блузка з цільнокроєним рукавом 

Моє безперервне скиглення щодо необхідності завести нову білу блузку, нарешті трансформувалося в її фізичне існування :-) Оскільки в теорії маю на думці декілька подібних проєктів, маю на увазі пошиття білих блузок, почала з найпростішої, швидкої в пошитті, але ефектної моделі. Вона чудово комбінується з усіма літніми речами, з якими я б її хотіла поєднати, але для прохолодніших сезонів, сподіваюся, запастися якоюсь ще.

I used pattern #119 from Burda 9/2013. It is an asymmetrical model with rich decoration. I love the idea of the aymmetry but I had to simplify the pattern according to my fabric. The original blouse in the magazine requires stiffer material than mine. My material is dense but soft so it wouldn't the neckline's shape properly so I refused from this feature and just made it symmetrical. That row of bows looks cute but is not my cup of tea at all so I would not add them anyway.

Скористалася викрійкою 119 з Burda 9/2013. Це асиметрична модель з багатим оздобленням. Ідея асиметртії мене приваблює, але мені від неї довелося відмовитися через тканину, яка в мене щільна, проте м'яка, а оригінальна модель в журналі потребує жорсткішого матеріалу, щоб тримав форму асиметричної лінії  горловини. Оздоблення я люблю всяке і різне, але саме подібні бантикі - не моє, тож я б їх все одно не додавала.

Despite pattern's simplicity, it took me almost the whole day to sew it because of processing sleeves' cuts and hems. I wouldn't mind making the sleeves shorter  but this length makes good proportion so I like it as it is.

Незважаючи на простоту моделі, на її пошиття пішов майже цілий день через обробку розрізів та низу рукавів. Я б не проти зробити рукави коротшими, але ця довжина створює гарну пропорцію, тож мені подобається і так як я.

Border Print Fitted Blouse

One more piece of clothing I was wearing during my vacation but this one wasn't made for my trip purposely. I cut it last year, either at the end of August or the beginning of September and, as it almost always happens with my summer projects started out of season, the details were waiting for their right time, which came when I sewed my green linen trousers and it turned out that together with the blouse they create a perfect match.

Ще один предмет гардеробу, який я носила у відпустці, але цього разу пошитий не спеціально для моєї подорожі. Покроїла я  цю блузку минулого року, чи то в кінці серпня, чи на початку вересня, і, як це майже завжди трапляється з моїми проєктами, започаткованими не в сезон, деталі чекали на свій зірковий час, який настав, коли я пошила зелені лляні штани і виявилося, що разом з блузкою вони утворюють прекрасну пару.

To make the blouse, I chose pattern #6325 Burda PDF and cotton batiste with border print. As you see, the border is arranged along the shoulder seams and sleeve caps. The pattern is supposed to be fitted but I made only one pintuck instead of two on every side to have the blouse half-fitted, which is much more appropriate for hot weather. 

Для пошиття блузки я обрала модель #6325 Burda PDF і бавовняний батист з купонної тканини. Як бачите, купон розташований вздовж плечових швів та окатів рукавів. Модель задумано приталеною, але я замість двох складок-защіпок зробила по одній з кожного боку, щоб зробити її напівприталеною, що набагато краще відповідає спекотній погоді.

The sleeves were shortened.                                                   Рукави  було вкорочено.

I completed the ensemble with Green earrings and wore it to walk around Uzhgorod.

PS. I don't play the piano; I used to play the accordion when I studied in primary school.

Комплект я доповнила зеленими сережками і одягала під час прогулянки  Ужгородом.

PS. Я не граю на піаніно. Я колись грала на акордеоні, коли вчилася в молодшій школі.

Citrus Orchad Dolman Sleeve Blouse

Right now I don't remember exactly what I purchased first either the pattern or the fabric but the fact is that they are а perfect match undoubtedly and I couldn't but buy both of them. I love citrus both as food and as motif for print so wanted to use the blouse pattern that would show the fabric in its best. Designs with dolman sleeves are the right choice to achieve this goal. Besides, having such a loose silhouette the blouse can be being worn in quite warm weather despite its long sleeves.

Блузка з рукавом летюча миша "Цитрусовий рай" 

Зараз я вже не пам'ятаю чи купила я першою тканину чи викрійку, але безумовним фактом є те, що вони ідеальна пара і я не могла їх не купити. Я люблю цитрусові і як їжу і як мотив візерунку, тож хотіла показати тканину якнайкраще. Фасони з рукавами кімоно - саме то, щоб прислужитися цій меті. Крім того, маючи такий вільний силует, блузка, незважаючи на довгі рукави, годиться для доволі теплої погоди.

The blouse pattern #111 from Burda 7/2025. From my experience, the choice of my fabric is not perfect to sew this blouse. If you want your garment to look like in the magazine, the material must be well-structured to keep the shape. My blouse is made of dense but soft viscose so looks different. 

Викрійка блузи 111 з Burda 7/2025. З мого досвіду, мій вибір тканини не найдосконаліший для пошиття цієї блузки. Якщо ви хочете, щоб ваше вбрання виглядало як в журналі, варто обрати гарно структурований матеріал який тримав би форму. Моя блузка пошита зі щільної, але м'якої віскози, тому і виглядає по-іншому.

In the magazine, they suggest to cut the pattern on one-layer fabric. The deatils are simmetrical so I refused from this idea at once and cut it on double-layer fabric but folded along the selvage edge. It also allowed to cut the plackets as single piece with front details. So I simplified the sewing as much as could :-)

В журанлі пропонується кроїти блузку на тканині в один шар. Деталі симетрічні, тому я одразу ж відмовилася від цієї ідеї і покроїла виріб вздовж кормки на складеній вдвоє тканині. Це мені також дозволило покроїти планки цільнокроєними з пілочками. Тож пошиття спростила як могла :-)

I also had to correct a little the fitting. Dolman sleeves alway have draping in under arm area but here I had also this kind of draping on the front details which looks far from being nice. So after trying the blouse on, I deepened the front darts; 1 - the initial dart's line, 2 - a new line. 

Some changes concerns sleeves. I cut them by 3 cm but didn't taper them to the bottom. I made folds but extra fabric gathered so the sleeves got flared by the cuffs.

Також я трохи виправила посадку. Рукави "летюча миша" природно драпіруються під пахвами, але у мене таке ж драпірування вийшло на пілочках, що мені виглядало наче штори в радянських ресторанах. Тож примірявши блузку, я поглибила виточки на пілочках; 1 - початкова лінія виточки, 2 - нова лінія. 

Також є зміни в рукавах. Вкоротила їх на 3 см, але не завужувала їх до низу. Зробила складки, але решту тканини призібрала, тож рукави отримали напуск навколо манжетів.

In the photos, the blouse is paired with green, yellow and greyish trousers.  I enjoy all of the variants, they can be chosen according to the mood and occasion.

На фото блузку скомбіновано з зеленими, жовтими та сіренькими штанами. Мені подобаються всі варіанти, можна обирати за настроєм та нагодою. 

Tropical Print Fabric Shirt

As I've already represented the first two pieces of this Tropical Fabric Set, I mean the trousers and the tank top, there is not much left to say about the last one. It is a simple loose shirt sewn by Burda PDF pattern #6426A. It was not once told about sewing the shirts in the blog, so this time I didn't even take any special photos of the process as it would be a not very interesting repetition.

Оскільки я вже представила перші два предмети з цього комплекту зі штапелю з тропічним візерунком, маю на увазі штани та майку, немає чогось особливого розповідати про останній предмет, просту, вільну сорочку пошиту за викрійкою Burda PDF 6426A. Про пошиття сорочок в блозі вже не один раз йшлося, тож цього разу я навіть не фотографувала процес роботи, оскільки це було б не дуже цікавим повторенням.

Ramie Fabric Shirt

It is a short story with lots of pictures about a new blouse. This year I am very lucky to be on time with photos, as it happens rarely when I've got a project to be photographed while the roses are blossoming, thus I can have an extra enjoyment from my outcome and share it with much more pleasure on this stunning background :-) 

Сорочка з рамі 

Це коротка історія з багатьма зображеннями про мою нову блузку. Цього року мені пощастило встигнути з фото, адже таке рідко трапляється, щоб у мене був готовий до фотографування проєкт під час цвітіння троянд. Тоє маю додаткову втіху від результату роботи і ділюся ним ще з більшим задоволенням на цьому приголомшливому фоні :-)

To sew the blouse, I chose pattern #105 from Burda 4/2011. Generally, I bought the pattern to make a dress #108, but at first made a different modification of the same model, as it often happens. Nothing special is in this blouse, unusual is only the material I used. It is ramie fabric, which is quite expensive, so I could afford only 1.5 m. On the other hand, I wanted this fabric to make only a blouse, so this piece is enough.

Для пошиття сорочки обрала модель 105 з Burda 4/2011. Взагалі, я купила викрійку пошити сукню 108, але, як це часто зі мною трапляється, спочатку пошила іншу модифікацію однієї і тієї ж моделі. В блузці немає нічого особливого, незвичайною є лише тканина, яку я використала. Це рамі, фактично кропива, тканина доволі дорога, тож дозволила собі лише 1,50 м, хоча, з іншого боку, з цієї тканини бачила лише сорочку, а цього метражу саме досить.

Instead of a covered placket, I made the front one. I also cut a pocket but then neglected it. 

Замість потайної (супатної) планки зробила звичайну цільнокрійну.

The collar was sewn at first to the wrong side of the blouse, then to the right.

Комір пришитий спочатку до зворотної сторони блузки, потім до лицевої.

I also like the cuff here. I shortened the sleeves by the width of the cuff. As I thought about having the sleeve 3/4 only after cutting the cuffs, the sleeves turned out to be wider than the sleeves along the bottom. So while joining these details, I gathered the sleeves slightly to fit the cuffs. 

Також мені тут сподобався манжет. Рукави я вкоротила до ширини манжет. Але оскільки про рукав 3/4 я подумала лише після того, як покроїла манжети, рукави по низу виявилися ширшими за манжети. Тож поки ці деталі з'єднувала, рукави трішечки припосадила, щоб все співпало.

In the photos, the blouse is paired with checked trousers and a bias skirt, and completed with a necklace and earrings. 

На фото блузку скомбіновано з картатими брюками та косою спідницею та доповнено намистом і сережками.

Purple Corduroy Shirt Jacket (Shacket)

Because of this fabric's qualities, my new project was not very quick and I had some difficulties while sewing it but I worked on my shirt jacket with pleasure and I am quite happy with the outcome. Generally, I didn't sew much of corduroy but I like both working with it and wearing it. This fabric's mystic violet colour, solemn and deep, attracted me so much that I couldn't resist and bought a piece to add made of it garment to my wardrobe some day. At once my idea was to make a kind of a shirt of this corduroy and pair the attire with a new brown knit pencil skirt.

Через якості тканини цей проєкт не був дуже швидким і у мене були деякі складнощі при пошитті, але працювала я над своїм жакетом із задоволенням і радію з результату. Загалом, я не багато шила вельветових речей, але мені подобається і працювати з цією тканиною і носити вироби з неї. Містичний фіолетовий колір матеріалу, урочистий і глибокий, привабив мене достатньо, щоб я не втрималася і купила відріз аби з часом додати якесь вбрання з нього до мого гардеробу. Одразу планувала пошити якусь сорочку з цього вельвету та поєднувати з моєю новою коричневою трикотажною спідницею.

To make a shirt, I chose model #2501-5C from Burda Easy 1/2025. This pattern's number is on our Ukrainian Burdastyle site so I don't know if it corresponds the patterns in foreign issues. Besides, we don't have printed magazines of the kind so I bought a PDF pattern. 

The main difficulty while sewing was the density and thickness of the fabric so it was not that easy to stich few shares of the fabric. 

The pockets sewed 4 cm lower than in the model to wear a belt but it would be worthy to sew them a couple more cm lower. 

I recommend at first to sew sleeves, check the length, and only then sew cuffs. My sleeves were shortened for 3 cm.

Для пошиття сорочки я обрала модель 2501-5C p Burda Easy 1/2025. Це нумерація з нашого українського сайту Burdastyle, тож не знаю чи відповідає він нумерації в іноземних виданнях. Крім того, у нас неммає друкованого видання тож купила викрійку PDF. 

Головною складністю була щільність і товщина тканини тож було нелегко строчити декілька шарів матеріалу. 

Кишені пришито на 4 см нижче ніж по моделі заради носіння паска, але варто було б пришити їх ще ще на пару см нижче. 

Рекомендую також спочатку вшити рукави, перевірити  довжину і лише потім пришивати манжети. Мої рукави вкорочені на 3 см.

Wrap Crepe Chiffon Blouse

It's only November but my April collection enlarged with a new blouse :-) If I go this way and that fast, next April a couple of more blouses could be represented too :-) I don't remember exactly when I cut this crepe chiffon one, probably in May or June, but it is ready at last and the outcome is nothing but awesome! From all this April collection it was the most complex project because of the design and the fabric so I'm really glad it's made. I've worn it to the theatre about ten days ago and it not only looks good, it also feels quite comfortable to wear. 

Блузка з креп-шифону на запах 

Зараз лише листопад, а моя Квітнева колекція вже збільшилася на одну блузку :-) Якщо рухамутимуся так і далі і з такою ж швидкістю, наступного квітня зможу похвалитися ще парочкою блузок :-) Не пам'яттаю точно, коли я її покроїла, можливо у траавні чи червні, але вона нарешті готова і результат прекрасний! З усієї Квітневої колекції ця блузка була найскладнішою і через фасон і через тканину, тож я справді рада, що закінчила її. Днів десять тому одягала до театру і почувалася в ній не менш гарно ніж вона виглядає.

Обробка потаємної планки (в реаліях англійських термінів планка з захованими гудзиками :-))

Despite the wonderful result, I can't say the sewing was cloudless. Whatever I did, I couldn't avoid damage of the threads and pulling (I pointed them in blue on the photo with buttoned collar). It made me upset to some degree while working on the project. 

Незважаючи на захопливий результат, пошиття не було безхмарним. Щоб я не робила, затяжок на тканині не вдалося уникнути (відмітила їх блакитним на фото з застібнутим коміром). Поки працювала над виробом, мене така моя безпорадність справдв засмучувала).

The belt was reinforced. Fortunately, I predicted it would be hard to keep the knot if the belt is too soft. 

I didn't make the plackets on the sleeves, firstly, I hate making that, secondly, probably, that's the reason I wanted to finish the project quicker. 

Such wide cuffs should be trapezium shape to be comfortable. However, I cut them as  the instruction requires so, while sewing, had to make them smaller in size and with air loops to fasten.

Пасок я зміцнила. На щастя, передбачила, що якщо він буде м'який, вузол не триматиметься. 

На рукавах планки не робла. По-перше, я цей процес не люблю, по-друге, і мабуть це і є справжня причина, хотіла закінчити блузку швидше.

Такі широкі манжети варто робити у формі трапеції для комфортного носіння блузки. Проте я вирізала їх як було зазначено в інструкції, тому довелося їх зменшити в процесі роботи і зробити повітряні петлі для застібки.

Striped Long Sleeved Pullover

 

Unexpectedly, this weekend I started and finished a project which planned in May. This striped pullover caught my eye from the first sight and I managed to buy materials at once in one of Facebook groups, it was a sign that my choice is right but, unfortunately, I postponed sewing and carried it out only now. The pullover is made of very loose, stretch, and even a little bulgy cotton knits, very pleasant to wear. 

Смугастий пуловер з довгим рукавом 

Несподівано на цих вихідних почала і закінчила проект який планувала ще в травні. Цей смугастий пуловер привернув мою увагу з першого погляду і, в одній з груп на ФБ, одразу вдалося купити всі необхідні матеріали для його відтворення: це був знак, що зробила правильний вибір, проте, на жаль, пошиття відкладалося і реалізувалося лише зараз. Пуловер пошито з дуже рихлого, я б навіть сказала, пухкого, бавовняного трикотажу, дуже приємного до тіла. 

The pullover is made by pattern #120 from Burda 5/2025. Besides the cuffs, I used rib fabric to make a collar. Joining the sleeves was focusing on checking the stripes of the sleeves' cups and arm holes.

The ready garment is very loose because of the fabric, I guess instead of size 44, I could sew size 40. But I am glad with what I got as I am paranoically afraid to have my things too small. 

Пуловер пошито за викрійкою 120 з Burda 5/2025. Крім манжет, з ребристої тканини я викроїла комір. Вшиваючи рукава, була зосереджена на співпадінні смужок пройми та окатів рукавів.

Готовий виріб дуже вільний завдяки тканині, думаю, замість розміру 44, можна було б пошити розмір 40. Але я задоволена тим, що у мене вийшло через мій параноїдальний острах, що я у щось не влізу :-)

Cotton Sateen Blouse-Style Jacket

I can't but confess that this absolutely awesome suit cotton made a lot of fun of me :-) At first, few years I couldn't choose the pattern to sew something of this fabric, and after the garment was ready, it was unexpectedly tricky to match accessories to complete the outfit. In the end, both of the tasks were done and I'm quite delighted with the outcome :-) 

Блузка-жакет з бавовняного сатину 

Маю зізнатися, що ця абсолютно шикарна костюмна бавовна добре з мене познущалася:-) Спочатку декілька років я не могла обрати модель для пошиття хоч чогось з цієї тканини, а як вбрання було готове, стало несподівано складно підібрати до нього доповнення для завершення образу. Зрештою, обидва завдання були виконані і я достатньо задоволена тим, що вийшло :-)

To make this jacket I chose pattern #105 from Burda 5/2020. It is a model of a nice blouse which is loose around shoulders and bust but at the same time is fitting around the waist. In my opinion,  it is a perfect pattern for making a jacket to pair with a bias cut skirt. Thus both of these items put together an excellent suit dress. This latter term sounds a little old fashined and I don't know if it is still being in use in English speaking sewing community but I guess it describes well the ensemble consisting of a blouse and skirt made of the same light fabric.

Для пошиття цього жакету я обрала викрійку 105 з Burda 5/2020. Це модель милої блузки, вільна у плечах та по бюсту, але прилягає по талії. Як на мене, це дуже вдала викрійка для пошиття жакету в пару до косої спідниці. Тож разом ці два предмети утворили прекрасну сукню-костюм. Останній термін звучить трохи старомодно, і не маю жодного уявлення чи його хтось ще вживає, але вважаю, що він добре описує комплект з жакету та спідниці пошитих з однієї і тієї самої легкої тканини.

The sewing is pretty quick, the fabric is not hard in work. The only process I canged is the sewing the sleeves. As the cup sleeve line is just a little curvy, I desided it would be simpler and faster at first to sew it to the armhole and then to join the sleeve and side seams as one single detail. 

Пошиття доволі швидке, тканина нескладна в обробці. Єдине, що я змінила в обробці - вшивання рукавів. Оскільки лінія окату рукава лише трохи вигнута, я подумала, що простіше і швидше буде спочатку вшити рукави в пройми, а потім одніє строчкою з'єднати шви рукавів і бокові шви.

As it was mentioned above, it was confusing to match accessoried to the garment. None of my ideas work and the best choice turned to be Chrysanthemum Brooch and Simple Shapes necklace, I even didn't wear any earrings!

Як вже вище відмітила, підбір аксесуарів до вбрання збентежив. Жодна з моїх ідей не спрацювала, а найкращим варіантом стали брошка "Хризатема" та намисто "Прості форми". Навіть сережки не надягнула!

Broderie Anglaise Black Peasant Blouse

It was obvious I wouldn't be able to sew anything during this week but, fortunately, I was so productive on the last day of August that still have projects to boast and share :-) Unfortunately, it is the last one I had sewed and I have already stopped counting how many of the cut garments are waiting in vain for my free time on my sewing table :-)

Селянська блузка з чорної прошви

 

Очевидно було, що цього робочого тижня я нічого не пошию, але, на щастя, я так плідно попрацювала в останній день серпня, що все ще маю чим хвалитися і ділитися :-) На жаль, це останнє з усього того пошитого і я вже припинила рахувати скільки покроєних нарядів даремно чекають на мій вільний час в моїй майстерні :-)

Here, in Ukraine, we don't call this kind of blouses peasant. Nowadays, we mostly name them boho instead and often, I'd even say, very often,  the similar patterns to make vyshyvankas (Ukrainain national blouses). This time I chose model #4 from Burda Easy 2/2020 as they have ready paper patterns so the process of sewing becomes faster than it  usually happens.

It's not surprising that I made the blouse in the blink of an eye. It took me a couple of hours together with the cutting. The edges I prosessed with a zigzag stitch not to change the thread in the overlocker, and used elastic only for the neck hole casing. In this video (video in Ukrainain) you can see the texture of the fabric in real.

В закордонній традиції такі блузки називають "селянські", в наші часи ми їх називаємо "бохо" і часто використовуємо подібні викрійки для пошиття наших українськіх вишиванок. Цього разу я обрала викрійку 4 з Burda Easy 2/2020 (українське видання 1/2020), оскільки у цих виданнях вкладені готові викрійки, а це, безумовно, прискорює процес пошиття. 

Не дивно, що не встигла я оком зморгнути, як блузка була готова. Пішло на це пару годин разом з покроєм. Краї обробила зігзагом щоб не міняти нитки в оверлоці, а резинку втягнула лише в куліску горловини. В цьому відео можна побачити фактуру прошви в реальному житті.

Round Yoke Knit Top

A quick and awesome project finished a week ago. I always plan to share my work on time but, as it often happens, postpone and do much later. The blouse was sewed purposely to pair with my Patchwork Skirt which I still enjoy wearing and don't mind making a couple more tops to match. 

Трикотажний топ на круглій кокетці 

Швидкий і милий проєкт завершений тиждень тому. Завжди планую ділитися своїми роботами вчасно, але, як це часто буває, відкладаю і роблю набагато пізніше. Блузку пошито спеціально щоб комбінувати з моєю "Клаптиковою" спідницею, яку одягаю все ще з задоволенням і не проти пошити до неї ще пару топів.

The blouse #121 from Burda 6/2018 is in my wish list for quite long, if there is ever any sense to make up such lists :-) I love its silhouette, and soft slight fitting despite the blouse lose enough. The garment is made of viscose jersey; the real colour is in the photos where I am wearing the top.

Блузка 121 з Burda 6/2018 в моєму списку бажань вже доволі довго, якщо, звісно, насправді є хоч якійсь сенс складати такі списки :-) Я в захваті від її силуету, також м'якого ледь помітного облягання незважаючи на її вільний об'ємя. Вбрання пошито з віскозного трикотажу; спрвжній колір на тих фото, де я в цій блузці.

Blue Asymmetric Top

This is my last July's project. It is a gorgeous, very comfortable top, or blouse as they name it on the pattern. The process of cutting can be seen in this video and in this video you can see the ready blouse which looks ugly on the hanger but is absolutely greatly on me :-) (videos in Ukrainian)

Блакитний асиметричний топ 

Це мій останній липневий проєкт. Це чудовий, дуже зручний топ, чи як написано на викрійці, блузка. Процес крою можна побачити в цьому відео, а в цьому - вже готову блузку, яка виглядає потворно на тремпілі, але абсолютно прекрасно на мені :-)

To sew the blouse I use pattern #124 from Burda 5/2019 and thin jersey. The size of piece was 1 m x 180 cm that's why it was enough to make the garment. The bodice is shorterned for about 15 cm, the sleeves for 3 cm. I also reinforced the stripe with interfacing to prevent it from possible stretching or rolling. 

Для пошиття блузки використала викрійку 124 з Burda 5/2019 і тонкий трикотаж. Розмір відрізу був 1 м х 180 см, тож  цілком достатньо, щоб пошити модель. основну частину вкорочено десь на 15 см, рукави на 3 см. Також я зміцнила прокладкою бретель щоб запобіги можливому розтягненню чи скручуванню.

In the photos the blouse is paired with a denim skirt and shorts. Both variants are nice.

На фото топ поєднаний з джинсовою спідницею та шортами. Обидва варіанти гожі.
