Mountains & Valleys Bracelet

The idea of the bracelet is very simple - the wire spiral climbing to the elbow and green and brown beads can't but make me think about the paths among picturesque summer hills and mountains to the tops lighted with the sun. I used to live in such places... and remember  moments when you don't believe the Geography textbook saying about meadows and bald mountain peaks because they are so high and contrast with  the shadowy paths through thick forest at their root... Sweet memories... Maybe this caused me to choose this theme for my first project with memory wire ( at least wire has memory here:-))

Браслет "Гори і долини"

Ідея браслету дуже проста - спіраль, що підіймається до самого ліктя та зелений і коричневий кольори намистин не можуть не наводити на думки про стежки серед мальовничих літніх пагорбів або гір, що ведуть до освітлених сонцем вершин. Я колись жила в таких місцях і пам'ятаю моменти, коли не віриш підручнику з географії, який розповідає про альпійські луки і голі піки гір, тому що вони так високо і так не схожі на  тінисті стежини серед густого лісу біля їхнього підніжжя... Приємні спогади... Може тому і вирішила обрати цю тему для моєї першої роботи з "memory wire" - дротом з пам'яттю ( ну, хоч у когось тут же має бути пам'ять :-))

The work is very simple and reminds even more the kid's fun when you know what you want and have what you need.






 Робота дуже проста і ще більше нагадує дитячу забавку, коли знаєш, що хочеш і у тебе все для цього є.

To define how many and what materials you need I advice at first to draw or assemble the pattern of your bracelet in line right on the table. Make a loop on one of the wire ends now just bead in the way you want, end with the loop as well.
The important piece of advice from professionals - never cut the memory wire with usual jewelry cutters, only with special ones or with a workshop tool.

Щоб визначитися скільки і яких матеріалів потрібно, пропоную спочатку скласти рапорт візерунку прямо на столі.  Зроби з одного кінця дроту петлю і тепер просто нанизуй. Закінчи теж петлею.
Важлива порада від справжніх спеціалістів: ніколи не різати дріт з пам'яттю ювелірними кусачками, лише або спеціальними або з чоловічої майстерні.

That's all. If the bracelet is long enough like mine, you can spread it up to the elbow or push the rings of the wire together and have it dense. Wear the way you want. I like both variants.

Ось і все. Якщо браслет довгий, можна розтягнути його до ліктя, або стягнути всі кільця разом, як хочеш. Мені обидва варіанти подобаються.
