Farfalle Bracelet, or November Heart

Probably about a week ago the first snow covered all around here... The way it changed the world for few hours astonished and gave the feeling of some pure childish joy which only can be compared with the gladness from reading a fairy-tale with happy ending... And I like to realise that such things still amaze me. The advantage of being a needleworker lets me come back to such moments and revive them into my creations.
I only wonder what the trees themselves like better either their nude calm winter loneliness or the richness of the prime that exhausts their life...


Браслет з фарфальок, або Серце листопада

Мабуть десь із тиждень тому все навколо покрив тут перший сніг... Те, як він на декілька годин змінив світ, не могло не зачудувати і дало почуття якоїсь чистої дитячої радості, яку можна порівняти лише із задоволенням від читання казки зі щасливим кінцем... І мені дуже подобається, що такі речі все ще мене вражають. Перевага рукотворниці в тому, що можна повертатися до таких моментів і оживляти їх в своїй творчості.
Мені лише цікаво, що більше подобається самим деревам: їхня зимова оголена самотність спокою чи все ж таки пишнота розквіту, яка висмоктує їхнє життя...

So the inspiration brought me to the pattern Heart-to-Heart Bracelet by Janet Palumbo from Beadwork 8/9 2013. I followed the instruction but made few changes. The first one - made a loop of seven 10.0 seed beads around the drop that i added instead of 3mm bead in the pointed spot.




Отже натхнення  привело до мене модель Heart-to-Heart Bracelet від Janet Palumbo з Beadwork 8/9 2013. Я слідувала інструкції, але зробила декілька змін. По-перше, додала петлю з семи бісерин навколо дропса, який додала замість 3 мм намистини у вказаному місці.

The second change concern the clasp. After making the toggle loop the bracelet seemed to be incomplete as if I had no enough materials to finish it. So I added 10.0 seed beads between farfalles wherever it was possible. In this way the work looks neater. I also changed the clasp - made a toggle bar from 10.0.



Друга зміна стосується застібки. Як петля тогла була готова, браслет видався мені якимось незакінченим, наче мені не вистачило матеріалів для його завершення, тому де тільки можна було я додала бісер 10.0 між фарфальками. Так виріб виглядає охайнішим. Я також додала планку для тогла, сплела з бісеру 10.0.

The bracelet turned to be quite refined... almost like that beautiful snowy morning...






Браслет вийшов доволі витонченим... майже таким як той прекрасний засніжений ранок...
