Since my last post, a month has passed, so I'm happy enough to be able to share something new, despite it's just a simple skirt :-) It was cut about a month ago as well, and the sewing was postponed day after day without any essential reason. During this time, I had intentions to make not only this skirt but also three more cut things piled on my sewing table and made none:-( Finally, this Thursday, I put myself together, and here it is, a new skirt that matches all the purple items I have in my wardrobe.

З мого останнього допису минув місяць, тож радію, що можу нарешті поділитися дечим новеньким, хоча це всього лише спідниця :-) Покроєно її було теж приблизно з місяць тому, і пошиття відкладалося, відкладалося і відкладалося з якихось незрозумілих причин. Протягом цього часу я збиралася пошити не лише цю спідницю, а ще невеличкий стос з трьох речей на моєму кравецькому столі, проте не пошила жодної :-( Зрештою, цього четверга я трохи привела себе до тями і ось вона, нова спідниця, яка комбінується з усіма фіолетовими речами в моєму гардеробі.
The pattern is #118 from Burda 3/2022, made of gorgeous fancy tweed. I like both the silhouette and the fitting of the garment, but I don't like the impractical use of the fabric, as the left piece is big enough to be called a leftover yet too small to become a new item of clothing. All the skirt's details were reinforced to keep their shape, as I don't trust this type of fabric not depending on its beauty and quality, which are undoubtedly high in this case. I omitted the pockets, and the fringe was out of discussion for this fabric as well. The skirt was lengthened by about 7-8 cm and lined up. I think modification #119 is worthy of making, too. I would lengthen it by 20-30 cm and use thin fabric. I guess. It is a good idea for a light summer skirt.

Мені подобаються і силует, і посадка моделі, але зовсім не до вподоби непрактичне використання тканини, оскільки залишився шматок занадто великий, щоб називатися залишком, проте замалий, щоб перетворитися на окремий ще один предмет одягу.
Всі деталі спідниці продубльовані трикотажною прокладкою, щоб тримали форми, бо я таким тканинам не довіряю, незалежно від їхньої краси та якості, які в даному випадку достатньо високі. Від кишень відмовилася, а бахрома з цієї тканини одразу була поза дискусією. Спідницю подовжила десь сантиметрів на 7-8 та поставила на підкладку. Думаю, модифікація 119 теж варта пошиття. Уявляю її на 20–30 сантиметрів довшою з легкої тканини — гарний літній варіант.
