Spring & Autumn Necklace

Creativity is a well-known kind of magic and all what you need to be a magician is to have ideas, inspiration and some craft's skills. For example, despite the heat we were fretting about the most of summer here, now when the signs of autumn are becoming visible, I think it would be funny to unite the colours of autumn and spring, the times of blossoming and fading, in one item. In such a way the colour style for this new set of jewelry was chosen. It embodies both gentleness and saturating. 


Намисто "Весна й Осінь"

Творчість, як відомо, це щось на зразок магії, і щоб трохи почаклувати все, що тобі потрібно - це ідеї, натхнення і якісь навички ручної роботи. Наприклад, незважаючи на спеку, на яку ми тут жалілись майже все літо, зараз, коли ознаки осені стають помітнішими, думаю, було б цікаво поєднати кольори осені і весни, пори розквіту і замирання, в одному виробі. Так і з'явилась кольорова гама, що втілює і ніжність і насиченість, які я обрала для цих прикрас.

I like beaded beads a lot. Their diversity seems to be unrestricted and varies form very simple and available samples to quite complex and costly. Peyote beads are pretty easy and quick ( after you beaded about 10 of them:-)) to make. You can make them in mono colour or with ornament: your taste and fantasy are the only push. The Internet is full of pictures and tutorials. I guess the important thing for choice in this case - the proportions, I mean, length and the thickness of the bead. For me pretty helpful was the idea from Fashion Magazine 12/2014. So I used their scheme and made 19  full length beads and 4 shorter ones. 
Probably it is nothing new but not to buy the capes or any kind of spacer bars to decrease the peyote bead hole for further stringing, I made it with brick stitch beading right from the edge row of the ready bead.

Мені подобаються нанизані намистини. Їхнє розмаїття здається безмежним і різниться від простих і доступних зразків до складних і витратних. Мозаїчні (або пейот) намистини прості і досить швидкі (після того, як ти зробила їх 10 штук:)) у виконанні. Можна робити їх однокольоровими, а можна з орнаментом: твій смак і фантазія - єдина рушійна сила. В Інтернеті повно фото і МК. Що важливо для вибору в цьому випадку - це, як на мене, пропорції, тобто довжина і товщина намистини. Мені згодилась ідея з "Модного Журналу" № 12/2014, тому я використала їхню схему і нанизала 19 намистин в повну довжину і 4 коротших.
Мабуть тут нічого нового немає, але щоб не купувати жодних роздільників для зменшення отвору мозаїчних намистин для подальшого нанизування, я це зробила цегляним стібком, нанизуючи його одразу з краю готової намистини.

And some notions about the bezel for a pendant. Аs I already have some experience in making that, I didn't use any new tutorial but if you need, chose the one to start with right-angle weave chain. Besides, my pendant's bead is big and pretty twisted so it turned out the chain must be measurably longer than the length of the bead's edge. The first picture was made during the first try ( you see the chain is the same length as the bead's edge), it was wrong and had to be remade.



Декілька зауважень щодо обплетення намистини для кулону. Оскільки в мене вже є деякий досвід, мені не знадобився якійсь  новий МК. Але, якщо тобі потрібен, то обирай той, що починається з ланцюжка в хрестик. Крім того, моя намистина велика і трохи перекрученої форми, тому цей ланцюжок має бути помітно довший ніж довжина краю намистини.  Перше фото було зроблено під час першої спроби ( добре видно, що ланцюжок однакової довжини з краєм намистини), це було неправильно і довелось переробляти.

And after all the components are ready - join them in your own way. At first I made the earrings? had few variants but the simplest turned to be the nicest:-)



Коли всі елементи готові - з'єднуємо за власним смаком. Спочатку зробила сережки, було декілька варіантів, але найпростіший виявився найгарнішим:-)

Then the necklace. While beading the peyote beads I thought how to decorate the pendant and couldn't choose any of variants at once so, unfortunately, had to sew the jump rings for the decor after the pendant was ready and it is not so neat as it should  be although it is not noticeable from the front.

Потім намисто. Поки нанизувала мозаїчні намистини, я все думала, як мені оформити готовий кулон і не змогла нічого вибрати одразу, тому, на жаль, довелося пришивати кільця для підвісок вже на готовий кулон, і це вийшло не так охайно, як мало бути, хоча і не помітно з лиця.
