The third necklace of my Green Set is ready. This time it is a pendant compiled of assorted beads and various findings hung on a chain.

Третє намисто з мого Зеленого набору. Цього разу це кулон зібраний з різноманітних намистин та фурнітури підвішаний на ланцюжок.
For the second rope of my Green Set also the lampwork beads are used but less in size than for the first. When stringing this kind of beads it's important to solve the problem of a balance because the heaviest beads will pull the rope and the necklace will look as it wants, and not as it's expected. I am glad I solved it in my favour :-)

Для другої низки мого Зеленого набору також використала намистини lampwork, але меншого розміру ніж для першого. Нанизуючи такі намистини треба вирішити питання балансу, бо найважчі намистини будуть тягнути низку і намисто буде лежати так як воно хоче, а не як від нього очикується. Радію, що я впоралася з цим завданням:-)
The first necklace of my the Green set which earrings were shared in the previous post. It is an asymmerical statement piece compiled of big lampwork beads, crystal rondels, seed beads and findings.
Зелений набір. Намисто "Зверни на мене увагу"
Перше намисто з мого "Зеленого" набору, сережки з якого були представлені в попередньому дописі. Це крупне асиметричне намисто зібране з великих намистин lampwork, кристалів, бісеру та фурнітури.
A new pair of earrings is supposed to be a part of Green set which will be made of different kinds and sizes of beads in various green hues.
Зелений комплект. Сережки "Ліхтарики"
Передбачається що нова пара сережок - частина Зеленого комплекту, який має бути створений з намистин усякого розміру та вигляду в різних зелених відтінках.
On some reason I am not in mood to cut any new garment today so want to share a quick but gorgeous project, new trousers. It's model #119 from Burda 3/2024. It is a simple pair with a couple of strings in the side seams and elastic band. I am glad with the chosen fabric, quite dense viscose, purchased right for sewing these pair.

Щось мені не кроїться сьогодні, тож хочу поділитися швидким, але гарним проектом, новими штанами. Це викрійка 119 з Burda 3/2024. Це проста пара з зав'язками в бокових швах та резинкою в паску. Задоволена обраною тканиною, доволі щільним штапелем, купленим спеціально для пошиття цієї моделі.
It was probably the first time in my life when I had as much fabric as it was required for making the trousers, 2,50 m and surprisingly, have not much remnants left.
One more bonus is not much gathering around the waist, maybe because the band is quite wide, and I even think it will look well if the top garment is tucked in.
Це, мабуть, перший раз в житті у мене було стільки тканини, скільки треба на пошиття штанів, 2,50 м і, на диво, клаптиків залишилося не так і багато.
Ще один бонус - небагато зізборювання навколо талії, можливо тому, що пасок доволі широкий; я навіть думаю, що заправлений в штани верх виглядатиме добре.
While making the dress from the previous post, time after time I was looking through Burda 4/2019 as it was at hand and thought what else I could sew from it. Right about that very time me and my friend were planning to visit some local swimming-pool to get a little freshness at our 40 degrees above zero heat. Model #106 gave a birth to a good idea to make a kind of a cover up to save my body from being burnt outdoors both at the pool and beach or during the walk around playing a role of a light cardigan. After all we didn't get to that pool as we changed our mind because they run thier business quite bad but yet I have a gown which my mum calls a pegnoir and it does protect my body from the hot sun :-)

Шиючи сукню з попереднього допису, час від час передивлялася число Burda 4/2019, оскільки воно було під рукою і все думала, щоб таке ще з нього пошити. Саме в цей же час ми з подругою планували відвідати якійсь наш місцевий басейн, щоб трохи освіжитися за нашої сорокаградусної спеки. Модель 106 навела на думку пошити кімоно, щоб рятувати тіло від опіків і біля басейну чи на пляжі, та і під час прогулянок, щоб відігравав роль легкого кардигану. В басейн ми той не пішли, бо нам не сподобалося як вони ведуть справу, але вбрання, яке мама назива "пеньюаром", у мене є і воно таки захищає моє тіло від пекучого сонця :-)
I would never buy any fabric specially to make the garment but in my stash I chose thin and soft viscose with border print along the both sides of the material. It used to be bought without any definite purpose just because it was on sale. The idea to sew the gown from it was exciting despite, truly speaking, 2 m was not enough :-)
The sewing is quite easy but needs patience as there are a lot of bending and top stitching. To avoid stretching of the front edges I reinforced the curvy parts with the interfacing. Pocktes were omitted because of lack of the fabric.
Я б ніколи не купувала тканину спеціально для пошиття такого вбрання, але в запасах я обрала відріз токої, м'якої віскози з купоном по обох краях матеріалу. Колись купила без певної мети, лише тому що був на акції. Захопила мене ідея пошити саме з цієї тканини такий пеньюар, хоча. насправді, 2 м недостатньо :-)
Пошиття просте, але потребує терпіння тому що багато підвертань і відстрочувань. Щоб краї передніх зрізів не розтягувалися, вигнуту частину укріпила прокладкою. Від кишень довелося відмовитися через брак тканини.
My intention was to cut the sleeves with borders on the bottoms but it was not possible as the fabric patterns on opposite sides were not symmetrical. So I hemmed sleeves with the border pieces as the facings.
Планувала кроїти рукави з купоном по краю, але це виявилося неможливим, адже по протилежним краям візерунок на тканині був несиметричний. Тож просто обробила низ рукавів смужками купону як обшивками.
The garment's zest, as for me, is the belt's tunnel which is sewed on the wrong side of the back and thus doesn't break the fabric's pattern. This lovely detail was probably the main reason why I chose this very model.
Родзинкою вбрання, як на мій смак, є куліса для паска, яка розташована на внутрішній стороні спинки, тому не порушує візерунок. Ця мила деталь, скоріш за все, і зіграла головну роль у виборі саме цієї моделі.
The feature of this new dress is embroidered shoulder epaulettes. To make these details embroidered I was inspired by my Kaftan Dress as wanted to use cross stitching decor for another garment after it was ready. The choice was made in favour of model #119 from Burda 4/2019 (or #6240A) as I'd already bought a piece of linen to make it and was going to sew the dress as quick as possible. It happened to become ready only now despite the hottest summer days and often power cuts. Thus I've got a great outcome anyway :-)
Лляна сукня-cорочка з вишитими елементами
Визначна деталь цієї нової сукні - вишиті погони. Вишити ці деталі мене надихнула моя зелена сукня каптан, оскільки мені хотілося прикрасити вишивкою хрестиком ще якесь вбрання після її пошиття. Обрала модель 119 з Burda 4/2019 (або #6240A) оскільки я на той момент вже купила відріз льону на неї і збиралася зробити її якнайшвидше. Так трапилося, що пошилася вона лише зараз, в найспекотніші дні літа та під час постійного знеструмлення. Тож в будь-якому разі все одно вийшло все добре :-)
The pockets are made without flaps as they are meant to be on the part of the bust which I have prominent enough :-)
Кишені без клапанів, оскільки вони мали бути на частині бюста, яка у мене і так достатньо випукла :-)
My epaulettes are a little longer than by the model and obviously I omitted loopes to keep them on the spot so sewed them along the shoulder seam (white threa is basting).
Мої погони довші ніж за моделлю і, вочевидь, я відмовилася від петлі яка б утримувала їх на місці. Тож я їх пришила вздовж плечлвого шва (біла нитка - наметувальна).
I have an idea, materials and intention to make a jewellery set to match specially to this dress but until it's ready the Ukrainian Ornament Earrings and Magatama Bracelets are quite nice accessories here.
Є у мене ідея, матеріали і план зробити набір прикрас спеціально до цієї сукні, але поки вони не готові, гарними доповненнями стали сережки "Український візерунок" і браслети з магатами.
As we still have and will have for some more indefinite time power cuts, I try to learn to write quick posts in short. Today I am sharing my experience of sewing a new blouse, #6424 Burda PDF pattern. I bought the pattern having in mind making a dress with its drafts but then, as always, decided to start with whatever. The blouse made from 100% viscose fabric which is thin but surprisingly dense. I had a piece about 120-130 cm.
Блузка з рукавами крильцями
Оскільки у нас все ще тривають і будуть тривати невідомо як довго знеструмлення, намагаюся вчитися писати швидкі і коротенькі дописи. Сьогодні ділюся досвідом пошиття нової блузки, викрійка 6424 Burda PDF. Викрійку купила маючи на увазі пошити сукню за цими кресленнями, але потім вирішила, як завжди. розпочати будь з чого. Блузку пошито з 100% віскозної тканини, тонкої, але на диво щільної. Відріз мій був десь 120-130 см.
To make the blouse matching better our hot weather, I refused from neck hole placket but when trying the blouse on I put a piece of fabric around my neck and it looks pretty nice. I also had to cut the back neck hole facing using the back detail.
Щоб блузка краще підходила до нашої спеки, я відмовилася від планки горловини, але примірявши блузку, приклала клапоть тканини навколо шиї і виглядає це непогано. Також довелося покроїти обшивку спинки за викрійкою спинки.
Today we have power cuts after 4 pm so I am in hurry to write a quick post as I've already piled a few new things to share. Sewing this dress is 100% my friend's merit because was caused by her simple question when we were going to Lavandia last weekend. When we discussed packing for the trip, she asked, "How many times are you going to change dress?" I was happy I had one new garment to wear on the day but then thought a little and understood I had enough time to sew one more simple one. In fact, an ideal dress for rest in hot weather, #102 from Burda 5/2012 (there are three more modifications of this pattern, #101A, B, C, for any taste :-)).
Сукня з вирізом мисом, або Перевдягання
Сьогодні у нас знеструмлення після 16.00, тож поспішаю зробити швидкий допис оскільки в мене вже зібралося декілька речей, щоб похизуватися. Пошиття цієї сукні - 100% заслуга моєї подруги, тому що спричинене її простим питанням під час підготовки до поїздки до Лавандії минулих вихідних. Вона запитала скільки разів я збираюся перевдягатися. Я була рада з того, що пошила одне нове вбрання задля того дня, але потім трохи подумала і зрозуміла, що у мене достатньо часу зробити ще одне, якесь просте. Насправді ідеальну сукню для відпочинку в спеку, модель 102 з Burda 5/2012 (є ще три модіфікації цієї моделі 101А, В, С, на будь який смак:-)).
If to esimate Burda issues by their using, this one 5/2012, is really among those on the top. If I ever make one more garment from it, I'll make a short review to generalize my experience :-)
Якщо оцінювати випуски Burda за їх використанням, це число, 5/2012, одне з тих, які на вершині рейтингу. Якщо я з нього колись пошию ще одне вбрання, зроблю короткенький огляд, щоб узагальнити сій досвід :-)
The dress was made from 1.40 m x 140 cm of viscose fabric. The width was not enough for one-length cut so I added small triangles to the back. I circled those triangles on the photo. In fact, they are not visible.
Сукню пошито з 1,40 м х 140 см віскозного штапелю. Ширини було недостатньо для крою в одну довжину, тому я додала невелички трикутнички до спинки. На фото я їх обвела. Їх, практично, невидно.
Yesterday I also wore the garment to spend a day at the Tylygul estuary. To make such a dress was one of the best choices I ever made :-)
Вчора я також одягала сукню, щоб провести день на Тилигульскому лимані. Пошити таке вбрання було одним з найкращих виборів, які я колись робила :-)
Such a mess has never happened to me here yet. I wrote a post devoted to this new project and when it was almost ready, our regular blackout interrupted my work. Thus I decided to finish writing a couple of words under the last photo on my phone. I have no idea what I clicked but the whole post disappeared😕 I don't want to write the same story again and will be shorter instead. This dress #114 from Burda 6/2022 was made quickly with a big fun and pleasure and took me, as in my best times, few days in full.
Day 1: I bought the pattern on our Burdastyle.ua site and arranged it;
days 2 - 3: the dress is ready despite blackouts;
day 4 - I have my new garment on and wander around Lavandia, a pleasant relaxing area with a lavender field, swimming-pools and a cozy resaurant near Odesa.
Лляна сукня
Така дурниця трапилася зі мною тут вперше. Я створила допис про цей мій новий прект і, коли він після п'яти днів творчих мук був майже готовий, прийшов час знеструмлення. Тож вирішила закінчити підпис до останнього фото з телефону. Уявлення не маю, що я тицяла, але допис зник 😕 Не хочу писати знову те саме, тож тепер буду лаконічнішою. Ця сукня 114 з Burda 6/2022 пошита швидко, весело і з задоволенням, як в мої найкращі часи, за декілька днів.
День 1: купую викрійку на нашому сайті Burdastyle.ua та склеюю її;
день 2-3: сукню пошито незважаючи на знеструмлення;
день 4: я в новій сукні гуляю по Лавандії, приємній зоні відпочинку з лавандовим полем, кількома басейнами та затишним рестораном поблизу Одеси.
It took 2 m of linen to make the dress. I used size 44 as the base. As I have cup G, I added 2 cm to detail 9 on the level of front part's dart to have enough space for my bust.
На сукню пішло 2 м льону. За основу взяла розмір 44. Оскільки у мене чашка G, щоб в грудях не було тісно до деталі 9 додала 2 см на рівні виточки середини переду.
To avoid fabric's stretching along the zipper the seam allowance was reinforced with interfacing.
Щоб вздовж блискавки тканина не розтягнулася укріпила припуск прокладкою.
Trying on the dress I yet decided to streighten just a little bit the curvy edges of relief seams.
Приміряючи сукню, вирішила зовсім трішки все ж таки спрямити випуклі краї рельєфних швів.

To have more fitting I wear a thin belt. It helps to stay comfortable in hot weather as the dress does not stick to the back. The outfit is completed with Moon Lantern earrings and bracelet.
Для більшого прилягання надягаю тонкий пасок. Це дозволяє почуватися зручніше в спеку, адже сукня не липне до спини. Вбрання довершуюють сережки та браслет "Місячний ліхтарик".
Sewed the day before yesterday and shared today simple top made from polka dots viscose jersey. Such quick writing is not typical for me but I do try a lot this time on different reasons. Firstly, I want to finish the cut stuff on my table to move quickly to new desirable projects and secondly, because of blackouts I must be more organised to make whatever. And Organised is not my name for sure :-)
Топ у горошок
Пошитий позавчора і розміщений тут сьогодні простий топ пошитий з віскозного трикотажу в горошок. Таке скоре письменство для мене не типове, але цього разу з різних причин я дуже стараюся. По-перше, хочу закінчити всі покроєні речі на моєму столі та рухатися до більш бажаних нових проектів і, по-друге, відключення світла примушуть бути більш організованою, щоб там я не робила. А "організована" - це точно не про мене :-)
I chose the pattern #103 from Burda 2/2021 right because of polka dots print. It seemed funny to use the chance to make the top from the fabric that looks like in the magazine. I am going to save the paper pattern as it has modifacation #104 with different sleeves.
Обрала модель 103 з Burda 2/2021 саме через візерунок у горох. Пошити топ з тканини схожої на ту, яка використана в журналі здалося кумедним. Паперову викрійку збираюся зберегти, оскільки ще є модифікація 104 з іншими рукавами.
The top was supposed to wear with a black denim skirt and future jeans but as it's not as black as the denim and looks as if bleached by the sun comparing with the skirt, I paired the top with my universal light trousers.
Передбачалося, що носитиму топ з джинсовою спідницею і майбутніми джинсами, але, оскільки він не настільки чорний і виглядає наче вигорів на сонці, я його скомбінувала з моїми легкими універсальними штанами.
I wore the skirt a little after sewing it while the weather was chilly but, because of the huge amount of work at the end of the term and rolling blackouts which unite together more than badly and even worse with making new things, had no chance to share this new project here. Now the situation with electricity has improved to some degree so I am in hurry to write the blogpost finally.
I cannot recall when I made something black last time but one day decided to make dark blue jeans. However, the ordered in the Internet fabric turned out to be super in colour and not so good in quality in real; it seemed too stretchy and smelled like rubber, being not cheap for me as well; in brief, it didn't make me happy at all. Thus I decided to buy other denim which seemed to be of better quality but black. Then I thought a little more and came to the conclusion that I also want a denim skirt as I've heard it is trendy now, isn't it?:-) And I've never in my life had a denim skirt, a kind of classic one, long with a centre front cut. What I got in the end, is seen clearly in the photos. At first, I cut the jeans and then cut and sewed this skirt but instead of the classic I made it four-seamed, slightly widening to the bottom, pattern #726 from ancient special Burda issue Blouses, Skirts, Trousers. I hardly could remember how that issue found itself in my collection, probably it happened in 1996 so, as I have no other explanation, the legend of its origin based on real facts is what it is :-)
Чорна джинсова спідниця
Спідницю я вже трохи поносила після пошиття поки було прохолодно, але через купу роботи в кінці семестру та відключення світла, які важко поєднуються між собою і ще гірше зі створенням нових речей, часу не знайшла поділитися цим проектом. Сьогодні ситуація зі струмом трохи поліпшилася, тож поспішаю зробити нарешті допис.
Не пригадую, коли останнього разу шила щось чорне і тут вирішила зробити собі темно-сині джинси, втім, тканина, яку я замовила в інтернеті, за кольором була супер, а якість мені не дуже сподобалася в реальності: якась надто тягуча і мені навіть трохи смердить гумою, словом задоволення не те, адже і вартість була не така вже і мала як для мене. Отже вирішила купити інший джинс, який здався мені гарної якості, але чорний. Потім ще трохи подумала, і вирішила, що хочу ще і джинсову спідницю, тренд жеж як-не-як, а у мене в житті не було джинсової спідниці, такої класичної: прямої, зі шлицею по середині переду. Чим все закінчилося дуже добре видно на фото. Спочатку я покроїла джинси, потім покроїла і пошила спідницю, і не класичну, а чотирьохшовну з легким розширенням до низу, модель #726 зі стародавнього спецвипуску. Я ледь згадала звідки він у мене взявся, а було це, здається, в 1996 році, тож, оскільки іншого пояснення у мене немає, легенда про його походження, заснована на фактах, є така яка є:-)
That mentioned year I subscribed to Burda in Polish language, it was cheaper than in Russian and then we even couldn't dream about Ukrainian issues. I was sure to have patterns and drafts are enough for me as I could sew and would figure out whatever. Suddenly, the fifth issue didn't arrive. I appealed somewhere and got this Burda Special instead. I still wonder what was in that Burda 5/1996 :-) It happened again during the year but then the replaced issues were correct but in German. From that magazine I made a few things, the skirt was also one of my favs all these years and for denim turned out to be a perfect choice. It yet has the cut but in the centre back seam. I reinforced its edges with interfacing to avoid stretching.
P.S. I examined the issue more attentively and found year 1998, it's confusing indeed as now I have no idea where I got the magazine, and which I got instead that missed 5/1996😳.
Того року я передплатила Burda але польською мовою: було дешевше ніж російською (про українською тоді ніхто і не мріяв) і я подумала, що мати викрійки мені буде достатньо, розберуся - шити я вмію. І тут раптом п'яте число журналу не прийшло; я писала кудись і мені надіслали оцей спецвипуск замість того травневого (мені досі цікаво, що там в ньому такого було :-)). Такі випадки пару разів ще траплялися, але на заміну приходили числа німецькою, проте які треба. З того випуску я пошила декілька речей та і спідниця ця мені завжди подобалася; як виявилося, для джинсу - саме то. Розріз теж є, але в середньому шві задньої частини. Я його краї зміцнила прокладкою, щоб не розтягувалися.
P.S. Я уважніше роздивилася журнал і знайшла рік 1998, і це справжня бентега, оскільки тепер не знаю звідки цей журнал взявся і який з них я все ж таки отримала замість того 5/1996😳.
Besides the gorgeous silhouette, the skirt's real zest is shaped belt loops. Thanks to the wide band and those loops one can wear two belts if somebody likes them or has matching belts. Not to say too much, the skirt is awesome, I came to terms with the colour; when the jeans are ready, I don't know, it's quite hot here now, the time for such jeans has already passed :-)
Крім прекрасного силуету, справжньою родзинкою спідниці, безумовно, є фігурні шльовки. Завдяки широкому поясу та таким двурядним шльовкам, можна одягати два паски, якщо комусь таке подобається. Ну, або якщо у когось вони є:-) Словом, спідниця прекрасна, комфортна, з кольором я змирилася, коли будуть джинси - поки не знаю, бо в нас вже спека, тобто, сезон такого джинсу вже минув :-)
First photos were taken when I was wearing my new crocheted top with a bunch of necklaces.
I've got a lot of work to do and I've got a lot of plans. The latter you can see on the photos on the left from which it's clear that om my table there are few sewing, and one crochet projects. I started them while we had rolling blackouts during last weeks after strikes on our electric power system. But today's Saturday is the one happening less or more regularly when I feel tired but under pressure of obligatory however unfinished work. As a rule, such kinds of days are over with nothing so, as I can't afford that, I decided to embroider a new brooch, a quick but cute accessory.
Брошка "Колосок"
У мене багато роботи і багато планів. Останні можна побачити на фото ліворуч, з яких видно, що умене на столі декілька кравецьких і один проект плетіння гачком. Я їх започаткувала під час наших відключень світла на останніх тижнях після ударів по нашій енергосистемі. Але сьогоднішня субота - одна з тих, які трапляються більш менш регулярно, коли я почуваюся втомленою, але під тиском обов'язкової проте невиконаної роботи. Як правило, такі дні закінчуються нічим, тож, оскільки я не можу собі такого дозволити, я вирішила вишити нову брошку, швидкий і милий аксесуар.
I haven't noticed how quickly I crocheted this top just sitting in my armchair and trying to follow the events of Death Paradise and ...not in Paradise last seasons series. The fibre was bought together with the kit to make a raffia hat last summer and as I can't but be inspired while watching tropical land- and seascapes, all mentioned above together brought this big skein of YarnArt Flowers in my hands and here it is! A new top crocheted by this pattern from Drops Design.
Гачкований топ "Узбережжя"
Я і не помітила як швидко згачкувала цей топ лише сидячи в кріслі і намагаючись слідкувати за подіями останніх сезонів "Смерті в раю" та " ...не в раю". Пряжу купила разом з набором для плетіння капелюху з рафії минулого літа і, оскільки не можу не надихатися острівними та морськими пейзажами, все згадане разом принесло мені в руки цей великий моток YarnArt Flowers і ось він тут! Новий топ сплетений за цією моделлю від Drops Design.
When working with yarns like YarnArt Flowers, the hardest thing is to define what skein's end to start with as without rich experience it's hard to decide how much yarn it takes to make a certain thing because, in fact, there is no chance to improvise. For example, I got leftovers enough for crocheting about five more rows but if I had used it, the top would be too long for me.
Коли працюєш з пряжею на кшталт YarnArt Flowers, найскладніше визначитися з якого кінця мотка починати роботу, оскільки без значного досвіду важко вирішити скільки пряжі піде на виготовлення якоїсь речі, тому що, фактично, немає шансів імпровізувати. Наприклад, тут у мене залишилося пряжі достатніх для гачкування ще рядів п'яти, але якщо б я їх використала, топ для мене був би надто довгим.
I chose the grey end as at once was going to wear the top with the set of necklaces in the turquoise colourstyle. The outfit looks gorgeous with the chosen accessories, Knotted and Blue Eye necklaces, and Sea Wheel earrings.
Я обрала сірий кінець, тому що одразу вирішила, що носитиму топ з набором намист в бірюзовій гамі. З обраними аксесуарами вбрання виглядає ефектно, з намистами "З вузликами" та "Блакитне Око", та сережками "Штурвал".
